Duplex Fasteners

                    

The Duplex Metal Hidden Doubled Fasteners are designed to connect two surfaces of both "wood-wood" and "wood-metal" type.

 

Duplex is a hidden fastening system consisting of two identical plates:

The Plate flanges are located in opposite directions to each other and work as coupler due to the interlocking

of the fastener flanges. A tight connection of the two parts of the fastener is provided by an oval groove, which reinforces the fastener connection through an additional screw, and a convex bulge ensures latching of the two parts of the fastener during connection.

 

A 4 mm gap appears between the wooden surface and the subframe (vertical or horizontal) which is not critical for installation of suspended horizontal surfaces. When installing vertical surfaces it is recommended to carry our preliminary milling of the wooden surface to a depth of 5 mm to assemble one element of the Duplex Fastener. In this case, the wall panel is fixed without a gap between the vertical subframe and the panel itself.

 

Owing to its unique coupling mechanism, the Duplex is the optimal fastener for: finishing interior and exterior walls with materials of natural wood or MDF more than 16 mm thick; installation of wooden wall/ceiling panels of all sizes; installation of laminated facade panels of natural wood; installation of lathed wooden ceilings; and installation of attached woodwork.
